It has a great classic feel to it, I must say. I like how the grain adds further depth to things and how the tone makes it feel more age-old, if you get what I mean... I mean, it's almost like vintage, but not.
The expression is an interesting one and it feels like a proper portrait as well from the way she's poised and looking at us. I feel as if we're transported back in time, if you get what I mean? Maybe you can feel it as well.
It is a bit too tight, perhaps... I feel as if you could have moved the camera higher, but that might just be me.
It's a very profound shot, though... one of those photos that you can imagine in a book or in a pocket, kept safe and close.
